Here are
some items I use and highly recommend. Several of these items
have been prescribed to me though Dr. Kim www.bvclinic.com.
I don't know where I would be today had I not met Dr. Kim.
Late 2009 I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease. The gastroenterologist
had me on several medications and I was still being hospitalized
with flares so he wanted to move me to an injectable medication.
I felt the medications were taking a toll on my body and wanted
to find a better way. Thank goodness I received a referral
from a client to Dr. Kim because my health is drastically
changed for the better. I began seeing her in May 2010 and
as of August 2010 I am medication free except for Chinese
herbs, two vitamins, and two supplements. I have been flare
free, no longer spend much of my time in bed, and look forward
to leading a normal life.
Something
I especially appreciate about Dr Kim, she does not go overboard
on supplementation. Two other practitioners had me on a
budget busting amount. At one time I was taking 19 pills
a day! Currently I am on the following...
Nordic
Naturals Cod Liver Oil - see Amazon link #4
Other
favorites
The
Miracle Ball Method - see Amazon link #5
Quantum
Neem Oil, apply twice daily, once in the morning about 15
minutes before brushing and at bedtime for healthier gums.
I'm not going to lie, it's an acquired taste. Can be purchased
through Natural
Healthy Concepts or Bellavive
Natural Health Clinic
Lara
Bars - Love my Lara bars. I'm following the Specific Carbohydrate
Diet and do not eat processed foods or those that contain
additives. These are pure and natural. See Amazon link #6
Coconut
Oil - Dr. Kim's opinion is lotions can actually make dry skin
worse. She suggested using coconut or olive oil. Since I use
this oil to cook with I thought I'd try it as a moisturizer.
I actually started using it as a hair treatment after I shower
and got a lot of complements on my curly hair. Does not leave
a greasy residue. See Amazon link #7.
